From the chilling accounts of those who have felt the presence of spirits through warmth and tingling sensations, to the haunting visuals of faint lights and orbs, we shed light on these ethereal beings. Our discussion invites you to embrace positive energy and divine connections, unlocking deeper insights into the supernatural world.

In our gripping account of Ryan's eerie experiences, we walk alongside him on his vast farm, where unsettling occurrences have taken hold following the loss of his beloved wife, Maria. Despite the isolation, Ryan's resolve is tested by mysterious movements and an unknown woman's chilling presence, compelling him to confront his fears with only his devoted dog, Bosley, for company. This true story, shared graciously by Ryan and his family, offers a raw glimpse into the profound impact of the paranormal, reminding us of the unseen forces that sometimes penetrate our lives. Tune in for a haunting tale that reveals the shadows lurking just beyond our everyday reality.

Speaker 1:

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night. Wherever you are and however you're watching or listening, welcome to Fruit Blenders Podcast. Before I begin speaking about the topic on this episode, I just want to say that this episode, the topic, was recommended by my best friend, brandon Bouse. Thank you, brandon. He's also my barber, so for those who really want a fresh haircut, go to Bblends or Brandon Bounce on Instagram and Facebook. Anyways, I really appreciate you, brother. We look forward to getting more fresh cuts through you All.

Speaker 1:

Right Now let's begin On today's episode. Our main topic and subject is life after death. Our main topic and subject is life after death the difference between ghosts and spirits. Humans are manifestations of spiritual energy, while ghosts are manifestations of human energy. Ghosts are impressions in space and time. They're an image that is unlikely to interact with you, while spirits are the souls of humans and other sentient beings, like animals who have passed on. Spirits can interact with you and the physical environment if they choose to do so. Ghosts are often times unaware. They're ghosts, while spirits are aware and active. So I'd argue that ghosts don't have consciousness, while spirits do. That's the main difference. Because of this, ghosts are stuck while spirits are free. There are appearances and atmosphere, appearances and Atmosphere. Spirits and ghosts can look familiar in appearances, if you can even see them, as in. They can appear as aspirations. They can also disappear.

Speaker 1:

I don't believe I've ever actually seen a real ghost or an apparition of energy replaying through time. However, I do believe that I've expanded massive amounts of energy in moments of initial grief and heartache that absolutely left an imprint in space and time. I believe this can happen with anyone, alive or dead. I do believe I'm in the presence of spirits regularly. When I am, the energy feels light, tingly and loving. Although I typically can't see them, when I do looks like extremely faint, misty light in an ambiguous shape that that slightly resembles a person, only a transparent that is so faint I think my eyes are playing tricks on me. This is rare, though.

Speaker 1:

Before I have literally felt deep full body chills and breeze under my covers while laying in bed that goes from my toes to the top of my head, when a loved, a spirit, came to visit me and most nights if I ever had sleep paralysis, that spirit would come back and save me. I have felt tingling on my head, arms and legs. I have seen beautiful pink and gold orbs floating above my head with sparks and light. This is true. I mean, I have seen one perfectly functioning light flicker out of family gatherings I was super young at this time and it just gave me the chills. So when I felt warmth and unconditional love, I started seeing just how cold it got in my room and I got the goosebumps, their sounds. Let's talk about their sounds.

Speaker 1:

I have personally heard spirits knock on walls, knock on the doors, knock on shelves. They say my name and I play that through my head while falling asleep and I'm like flipping through, like I'm flipping through radio stations and some static in between, most prominently, instead of hearing. I just know, just know that they know I don't always believe in spirits and ghosts or paranormal sounds and activities until I believe it, until it happens. Then I look back and I always say I knew that was going to happen. How did I know that? How did I know that?

Speaker 1:

The possibilities so far, the explanations of consciousness vs unconsciousness and free vs stuck, are all binary descriptions based on my own limited experience with each. While these binary descriptions are generally helpful guidelines, we must acknowledge that, as with all things in life, there are indefinite shades of gray. We can't rule out the possibility that at some point the line between them may blur. It may, because I can't possibly know all the possibilities. Here is another that I've found through my experience. Additionally, spirits tend to appear and can be seen, for the people who want them to see, in a variety of ways.

Speaker 1:

Can spirits be good or bad? The short answer is yes. A spirit can be good and or bad. If a ghost is merely a reply of energy, it is neither good nor bad. If a ghost is neither good nor bad, what are the entities that cause hauntings and bad feelings? Spirits. If a spirit is the soul of a human, it stands to reason that the soul can carry characteristics of a human's life or lives and personality. Conversely, humans also carry characteristics of their spirit. We all have the chance to make a difference, better choices, though. Therefore, just as we can choose here in our physical world, a soul can choose love or it can choose fear. A soul or a spirit can choose manipulation, low density, emotions and actions, and can embrace or reject God or fall on a spectrum somewhere in between, rejecting or embracing God, the universe. How to know if a spirit is good or bad? Well, I don't interact with bad spirits. They know they are rejected here for the safety and well-being of my family and myself, and I'm a big believer in God.

Speaker 1:

Before I knew the difference or even knew much of spirits, I did live in a house with my siblings, my mom, my dad, my sisters and my brothers that we believe was haunted by mean, mad spirits. We would all get uneasy feelings while sitting on the couch in the living room just watching TV together, just relaxing. We would all get uneasy feelings when walking down the hallway that's the best way I can describe being in the presence of a negative spirit, a general feeling of unease. That was nothing to do, that has nothing to do with ego or fear or diagnosed anxiety. Even it's different than generalized anxiety but hard to explain.

Speaker 1:

I mean, this house was like the first house that we lived in in, you know, west Valley City, utah. The house was, you know, painted red. It was built in 1966. So it was really an old house. The minute we moved into the house there was, I believe, two bullet holes in the bathroom door and you can see that. I mean I feel like somebody did get shot in that house like way, way back, because this house was, when I say old, it was really really old, but it was in good. It had good stability, it was in good condition, because every time where me and my siblings are outside, we'd find, like you know, we, we would dig it up, we would dig the backyard, we'd find horseshoes, some braces, some, you know uh, some arrows and, um, a lot of old antiques. It was just strange.

Speaker 1:

But the inside of the house was a little more mysterious. So let's talk about the bullets in the bathroom door, those bullets. There was two holes, two holes, and there was blood draining, blood, like, literally, the drip of blood was between those holes and that blood was never, ever painted over, erased or washed or cleared up, nothing. It was just left there. And what do we do? We ignored it. We just like said you know what? This is not our job to, you know, clean this up or even remove it, because we don't know if it's still part of, we don't know, we didn't know, we just knew that the house was haunted and um.

Speaker 1:

So I've had a lot of experiences in that house and my next experience was, um, my friend's house, you know, um, may his parents rest in peace but um, this house, when we were there, when I was sleeping over, I was in the you know guest bedroom and um told me that hey, just let you know, my dad will be walking around here at night. And I'm like what he's? Yeah, my father, his spirit, is still here, he walks. He will walk around at night to make sure I'm safe and I'm good. But I'm worried, he's gonna make sure that you're good too. And it's true.

Speaker 1:

I was up at like around what 2 am the morning, 3 am, and I heard some footsteps. I thought it was one of my friends, you know, coming down to get a you know glass of water or something, or you know whatever, using the bathroom. But no, it was a spirit. He was walking around. First I saw a light in the hallway, so I'm like, okay, it's just one of my friends getting up. Maybe it's luke, who knows. I saw the footsteps and I heard a knock. He was trying to come in the door, but my door was locked.

Speaker 1:

And you know what spirits, when the door is locked or you know, uh, closed, they don't enter at all because there's no way for them to enter, even though they could enter in a weird you, you know gravity I don't know what to call it In a weird visible way. Sometimes they respect the fact that the door is closed. They don't enter at all. So a spirit is bad when there's bad energy within between, because sometimes spirits are just trying to protect others who have good intention and who have good energy. So not every ghost is bad, not every spirit is bad. Sometimes spirits are there to protect you and our ancestors and our deceased, you know, family relatives. Whomever. They're there to protect us, they want to make sure that we're safe. So for those who don't believe in ghosts or spirits, you must believe because this is true, it is real, they are out there and and they're there for good reasons and bad reasons. Sometimes they have to, you know, scare the crap out of us.

Speaker 1:

Just a reminder ghosts invite us to dwell on our relations with the dead, but also with the living, our family and friends, our neighbors and acquaintances, our enemies, even perfect strangers. Sometimes the ghostly encounter allows us to recognize the ghost as our ancestors. It repairs a familial relation, our undoes and undoes of forgetting. Other times it involves recognizing that the landscape of the dead is populated by ghosts and spirits who we ourselves do not and cannot claim as ancestors, but who nevertheless demand and deserve acknowledgement. It is about listening and making space for these ghosts and spirits, realizing that our fates and our beliefs, those of the dead and those of the living, are bound together. Ghosts remind us that we live and must be in good relations to people we may never know. The ghostly encounter is, after all, a matter of justice and the afterlife and the spiritual life. It means coming to terms with how the past animates the present.

Speaker 1:

Engaging ghost is a form of memory work. Ghosts want something from us too. Haunting is the way ghosts make their desires known. This means acknowledging two things. First, the ghost is not just a segment frail. Once framed it a projection of mental entities into the external world are being beings outside of us, with their own agency and therefore outside of our control. Secondly, through the ghostly encounter we might come to reckon with the ghosts demands. These demands are always specific to the ghosts. Sometimes these demands are satisfied through acknowledgement. Acknowledge the fact that they are there, standing right next to you. We must also entertain the possibility that sometimes, the possibility that sometimes ghosts just like to haunt, that the act of haunting is satisfying in itself. I got the chills from that. That's crazy. Now I did mention that this is a special episode. So thank you so much for tuning in to my story, but now here's a special edition from my buddy, ryan from Hillsdale Michigan. Please tune in and I hope you enjoy this special episode and the special section. Enjoy. Here we go.

Speaker 2:

I live alone on a big farm, just me and my dog Bosley. The house is too large for one person, but I never had the heart to downsize. After my wife, maria, passed away, my kids moved out years ago and ever since cancer took her, it's just been me and Bosley. One night, after a long day in the shop, I decided to go for a walk. My property is pretty big, so just a single loop is usually enough to satisfy my craving. The air was cool and Bosley trotted along beside me. Sometimes I think he likes me more than I like him. I've walked that loop hundreds of times. But as I was heading back toward the house, something caught my eye. I glanced up at the second-story window, the one that looks out from the bedroom Maria and I used to share. For a split second I thought I saw something move. I stopped dead in my tracks staring up at that window. There was no reason anyone should be in there. I hadn't been in that room in years, couldn't bring myself to. I felt my blood start to boil at the thought of some stranger breaking into my house. I wasn't going to stand for that. I rushed inside, my heart racing, and ran upstairs. The room was empty, just like I'd left it. No sign of anything out of place. I looked everywhere imaginable but found nothing. Yes, I was pretty freaked out, but I was more angry than anything. I didn't take this kind of thing lightly. I figured I had just seen something that wasn't there. I stood there for a while feeling foolish, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something had been there.

Speaker 2:

The next night I woke up to Bosley growling. He's a good dog, never barks unless there's something to bark at. I sat up in my bed listening. That's when I heard creaking coming from upstairs. It could have just been the sounds of my old house, but my mind went directly to footsteps which were coming from right above me. I'm sure you could guess which room is directly above mine. I debated grabbing my hunting rifle from downstairs, but didn't want to go that far. If it came down to it, I was fully confident that I could take whatever was up there hand to hand. I grabbed my flashlight and went to check Again nothing, the room was exactly the same, untouched. My anger was definitely starting to turn into anxiety at this point. Something didn't feel right in the house.

Speaker 2:

The following night I came downstairs to find the kitchen lights on. I know I turned them off before bed. I don't leave lights on. There was no question anymore. Someone was in my house. I started to panic. I called the police and told them I thought someone might be sneaking around. They came out, searched the house from top to bottom but found nothing. They were nice about it, told me to call again if I needed them, but I could tell they didn't believe me.

Speaker 2:

The next night was the worst by far. I couldn't sleep, so I decided to go upstairs and check the bedroom again. I don't know why. Maybe I thought it would settle my mind. But when I opened the door I froze. There were clothes scattered all over the floor Maria's clothes. I had packed them away after she died. Now they were everywhere. Something like this doesn't just happen randomly. And then I saw her. There was a woman standing in the doorway just staring at me. I couldn't see her face clearly, but I could tell she wasn't Maria. She was too short. I don't know who she was, but she didn't belong there. I had never been so afraid in my life. Without thinking, I ran at her. She turned and bolted down the stairs and out the front door. By the time I got outside, she was gone. I searched the property with Bosley, but there was no trace of her.

Speaker 2:

I didn't sleep that night. For months after that I couldn't sleep. I was constantly on edge, convinced I heard footsteps upstairs. At night, every little noise set me off. I slept with my rifle next to my bed, terrified that I'd have to use it one night. Every little noise set me off. I debated calling my brother to come stay with me, but I wasn't going to do that. I was raised to always handle my own shit, so that's what I did.

Speaker 2:

The nightmare didn't end, though. One night, I was sitting in the living room when I noticed a figure standing in the yard looking straight at me through the window. It was her. Again, my heart felt like it stopped. I grabbed my hunting rifle and ran outside. Bosley close behind. She was still there, just a silhouette in the moonlight watching me. I fired a few warning shots into the air, hoping to scare her off. That was enough to get her to turn and run into the darkness, but it's not like that made me feel any better. I was literally being tormented by some random woman who was probably homeless. I couldn't even imagine why this was happening to me. I stood there for a long time waiting to see if she'd come back. She never did. I haven't seen her since, but I know it's only a matter of time. I'm fully prepared to defend myself, but I don't think living in perpetual anxiety like this is sustainable. Thank God for Bosley. I have no idea what I'd do without him. I'll send an update if anything happens.

Speaker 1:
